In order to be enrolled as a PhD student, you must apply for enrolment and have your project approved and financed. You need to have a relevant Danish Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in order to be enrolled. If you hold another degree, an equivalence assessment can form the basis for enrolment.

You apply through our online form when there is an open call. All our application rounds are open – in the way that the topic(s)/supervisors are not decided by the graduate school.

Before you apply
Before you apply, you need to contact a possible main supervisor. A recommendation from your main supervisor is mandatory and has to be a part of your application.

You need to be aware of the requirements to English language skills. It is expected that you master the English language corresponding to CEFR C1-level.

In our application guide you can learn more about the application requirements and find information about how to fill in the online form.
