New fellowship model (fall 2018)

The graduate school offers two types of financial support for PhD programmes at the Faculty of Health:

  • Research training supplements (available four times a year)
  • Fully financed fellowships for ordinary and integrated PhD programmes (available three times a year)

From the fall of 2018, the fully financed fellowships will be connected to ‘open’ project proposals. The department management (in collaboration with the heads of the graduate programmes at Health) will define the project proposals. A candidate will apply for a project proposal, and if qualified the candidate will be invited to a workshop with the purpose of matching candidate and project. Find a description of the new model in the right sidebar.

The application rounds for fully financed fellowships in the spring of 2018 will be conducted in the current manner. Find application deadlines for PhD applications for enrolment and fellowship in 2018.

Pilot project in 2018 and 2019

The new fellowship model is a pilot project in 2018 and 2019. The application rounds for fully financed fellowships in the spring of 2018 and 2019 will be conducted in the current manner (interviews), while the application rounds in the fall of 2018 and 2019 follows the new model (project proposal and workshop).
