10.5 million DKK for research in Universal Design

The Bevica Foundation launches new PhD call and invites prospective PhD applicants to an online information meeting on 22 January

The Bevica Foundation is now accepting applications for new PhD research projects aimed at developing knowledge about universal design as a means for creating a more inclusive and equitable society.

We all have different and changing functional abilities throughout life. Nevertheless, our shared environments are often designed for a standardized and fully functioning body. Universal Design is a value-based concept which can be used to ensure equitable inclusion of people with functional variations in the design of our society.

The Bevica Foundation’s Universal Design Hub invites applicants from all relevant disciplines to contribute with new knowledge that can strengthen inclusion and address academic or societal challenges related to people with functional variations.
