On Friday 28 August 2026 at 14:00, Anne Katrine Bak Poulsen defends her PhD dissertation entitled “Optical Coherence Tomography in Airways - The OCT Air Study”.
The project investigates whether endobronchial optical coherence tomography (EB-OCT), a catheter-based imaging method, can contribute to more detailed and accurate assessment of airway morphology and objective measurements of airway dimensions. The aim is to clarify whether EB-OCT can complement bronchoscopy and CT in the assessment and treatment planning of selected airway diseases.
