| Journal Club in the Research Methodology Interpretive Description: Aim To create a forum where theory and qualitative methods related to research with the application of the methodology Interpretive Description can be presented and discussed. Among these:
Target group PhD students, students who are planning on entering the PhD study and researchers who work with qualitative methods within Interpretive Description. Structure The series of topics is decided at the start of the semester and is primarily shared between PhD students and students who are planning on entering. The responsibility for the holding of the meeting is shared between the PhD students at the start of the semester. There is in total approximately 1 hour and 50 minutes for presentation of selected material e.g. a published article that has used Interpretive Description, areas of projects where Interpretive Description is the central element, own draft articles etc. Discussions will take place during or after the presentation. Approximately 10 minutes at the beginning and at the end, as well as planning for the next time. Written material and also questions as a starting point for discussion are sent out a week before the meeting. Attendance of the PhD students and active participation is expected.
