Final programme and abstract book is now ready. In the abstract book you can see which session - either as poster, oral presentation or chairman - that you have been allocated. Please see the menus 'Poster presentations' and 'Oral presentations' for details concerning the format of the presentations, time frames and criterias for selecting the 'best' presentations.
As announced the theme of the PhD Day 2011 is Financing Research and we have invited representatives from two large Danish foundations and from the European Research Council. The Skou Lecture will be held by Nobel Laureate John Walker. See the preliminary programme.
The registration deadline for the PhD day 2011 is the 3rd December 2010. It will not be possible to register after this date. You can cancel your registration untill the 17th December 2010 by sending an email to Lene Birkegaard Pedersen (lbp@sun.au.dk)
Deadline for printing of posters at SUN-TRYK will be December 1, 2010. First and second year PhD students are all to contribute with a poster. Among third year PhD students 32 will be selected for oral presentation, the remaining will participate as chairmen.
The Fogh Nielsen Prize, which is awarded for excellent achievements in research, is open for applications. Three PhD students will be selected for presenting their project at the PhD Day and compete for the prize. Only PhD students that submit their dissertation before 31 December 2011 can apply. Deadline October 18, 2010.

We are open for abstract submission. Please note that the deadline for abstract submission is September 22, 2010. All PhD students are expected to submit an abstract, which will be printed in the abstract book. The maximum number of characters allowed is 1700.
