On 17 and 18 January 2024, 29 curious PhD students across numerous health research fields took up a challenge at the graduate school’s brand-new PhD workshop “Fill up your toolbox for future commercial research collaborations”.

In a very interactive learning environment, the participants got an extensive range of tools and methods to foster innovative thinking and a collaborative mindset around company cases presented by Roche. The 9 teams went into solution mode – and even got to test their solutions by acting out a user scenario before preparing a pitch.

Then Health PhD Day took place on 19 January 2024, and in front of their peers and an expert team the 9 teams got to pitch their excellent work in one of the PhD Day sessions!
