Medical Innovation Day is a two-track event, where you can choose between two types of active participation; the Challenge track or the Innovative Ideas track.
The aim of Medical Innovation Day is to:
Case competition skills, methods for defining a relevant unmet need for innovation, methods for generating and validating good ideas, entrepreneurial methods, methods for presentation and pitching, network with people from the industry and interdisciplinary teams.
In the Challenge track (2 days), companies present relevant and real-life challenges to students who will work strategically and practice-oriented with the cases and come-up with innovative solutions.
In the Innovative Ideas track (1 day), students and (young and senior) researchers present their own medical innovative projects and receive advice from leading investors in Danish medical innovative projects.
As part of the track programme, all participants will get access to inspiring talks from university and health sector representatives, and informal networking with company representatives, peers etc.
The event will be held in English
All students (PhD, Master, Bachelor) attending the Challenge track(2 days) are eligible for obtaining 0.6 ECTS credits. Common sessions, talks etc. for all participants at Medical Innovation Day will be included in the programme.
All PhD students attending the Innovative Ideas track (1 day) can include their presentation as either:
