Financial support for residential course

You can apply for financial support from the Graduate School of Health for participation in residential courses both in Denmark and abroad.

You can get financial support for max. two residential courses during your enrolment period and for max. five ECTS.

The financial support amounts to DKK 2,300 per ECTS (you can be granted financial support that corresponds to max. five ECTS.) and is calculated based on a passed course and assigned ECTS. Meaning, you are informed about the final course grant after you have completed the course.

How to apply

  • Apply for pre-approval of the residential course no later than 14 days before the course starts
  • When you have participated in the course, apply for final approval
  • When you receive approval with ECTS and the amount granted, claim your expenses reimbursed

How to settle your expenses

Travel expenses cannot be reimbursed before you have participated in the course, and you must claim your expenses no later than 14 days after you have received a diploma.

The graduate school can reimburse expenses for travel, accommodation and course fee.

If you are an employee at Aarhus University you claim travel reimbursement in RejsUd (au.dk), Aarhus University’s travel and expense system.

If you are not employed at Aarhus University, you fill out a travel reimbursement form and send it to PhD.Travel@au.dk along with documentation for all expenses and your grant e-mail.

If you cancel your participation, fail to turn up or don’t pass the course, the application for funding counts in the max. two applications for financial support.
